Our Story
Global Hope Initiative is run by a group of passionate students who could no longer stand by while millions of families around the world struggled to meet their basic needs. Motivated by the belief that every person deserves access to essentials like food, clean water, and shelter, we came together to create an organization dedicated to making a tangible impact. As a student-led nonprofit, we focus on providing direct support to those in need, advocating for sustainable solutions, and engaging communities to join us in the fight against global hunger and poverty. Our goal is to empower individuals and create everlasting change, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity and hope.
Our Team
Hi, I’m Saif Saleem, the founder of Global Hope Initiative. I’m a rising senior at The Wheatley School in Long Island, New York, where I’m actively involved in many clubs and activities. My personal journey has inspired me to start this organization, and I’m dedicated to making a difference by supporting and empowering those in need. Through our work, we focus on education, healthcare, and community support, all with the goal of bringing hope and positive change to people around the world. I’m passionate about our mission and believe in the power of compassion to transform lives.
Hi! My name is Iman. I am the Vice President of Global Hope Initiative and a sophomore at The Wheatley School in Long Island, New York. I’m deeply passionate about social impact and I am a dedicated member of GHI where we focus on supporting underprivileged communities worldwide. I am truly excited and eager for the future of this initiative and its potential to create meaningful change.
Zaynah Karim, 16-years-old, is a high school junior from New York. She is passionate about gender equality, food insecurity, and the migrant crisis. In the future, Zaynah looks to become a lawyer fighting for individuals’ rights.
My name is Ayaan Pirzada, I am a current junior at The Wheatley School in Long Island, New York. I am dedicated to helping the community and giving back through my involvement with Global Hope Initiative. My passion lies in making a positive impact and supporting those in need giving them hope and encouragement.
